Media 18, Llanerch Hills 17

Two and one-half hours after the first pitch was thrown, Scott Patton roped a triple to
right center, producing the winning run in the bottom of the 6th as Media's 10S All-star
team beat Llanerch Hills, 18-17 for its third straight win.
 
Colin Barker started for Media and had a strong opening stanza striking out 2 and retiring
Llanerch Hills on 4 batters.  Colin also had 3 hits and scored 3 runs. Thomas Weathers
pitched 3 solid innings for Media, striking out 4, allowing 4 runs and recording an out
at the plate on a passed ball.  Thomas also had 2 hits including a double.  

There were a lot of contributors for Media this game, including:

Jimmy Reese had 3 hits including a leadoff single in the bottom of the sixth and scored
the wining run
Keith Grauer and Colin Barker with 2 hits apiece;
Sean Hobson had 2 doubles and did a nice job at catcher
Ian Campbell recorded two assist at catcher - one at home and the other at third with
a nice tag by John Allen on a runner attempting to steal.
Mitch Engleka continued his solid hitting with a seeing-eye double to right center.  
Connor Gallen made two nice defensive plays at third base; 
Justin Brown and Jack Prior made a nice 3-4 putout on a bunt attempt;
