Media 13, Lansdowne 3

On a hot and humid afternoon, Media's 10s all-stars got back on track with a 13-3 win
over Lansdowne.

Jack Prior started for the "Blue Monkey Dishwashers" and pitched 3 strong innings,
allowing only one run.  He also helped behind the plate, catching one inning.   Justin
Brown, Conner Gallen, Scott Patton and John Allen (with Scott and John making successful
postseason debuts) also pitched to complete a strong pitching performance for Media.

Defensively, Keith Grauer made 2 strong plays in left field getting force outs at second
base and also had 2 hits and scored 3 times.

Offensive highlights were many and included:
Scott Patton- a double and 2 singles
Justin Brown - two doubles
Jimmy Reese and Conner Gallen - 2 hits apiece
Sean Hobson and Ian Campbell - 4 hits each
John Allen had two hits including legging out a bunt single with his great speed
Mitch Engleka made a nice 4-3 out playing second and also drove in a run.
Colin Barker had a single and was robbed two other times on nice defensive plays

Next up for Media 10s all-stars is Aston Valley in the Norwood tournament on Tuesday,
July 8.  Next home game is Sunday at 2 pm v. Brookhaven.
