10T (Drexel Hill Tournament): 7/14/03
Media 4, Aston Valley 3 

After two stress free wins Media came into Monday nights third round game a little flat.
This is not to say that Aston did not play well, especially their pitcher who held Media's
hitters at bay NEARLY the entire game.  Most of the game was a pitchers dual with Media's
Brian Bosco and his defense going the first four innings without yielding a run.  Aston
Valley struck first with a run on 1 hit in the fifth.  It may have been more if not for
the overpowering relief effort of Jake Enterlin.  Aston Valley was not done however scoring
2 more in the top of the sixth.  Down 3 - 0, Media came to bat in the bottom of the sixth.
Brian Bosco started things off with a walk.  Ryan Myers then singled.  With runners on
first and second Conner McCarren ripped a 2 run double to left certer field.  One out
later Kevin Melone came up and hit a screaming line drive down the right field line judt
fair and over the fence for a 2 run walk-off home run.  A very exciting win which now put
Media in the finals of the Winners Bracket (Friday Night at 8:00pm).
