Majors: Monday, April 28, 2003 9:39 PM Carman 11, Campbells 0 Carman and Campbell's squared off for the second time in four days, as once again Mike Still faced Alex Butt as starting hurlers. Still went three innings, yielding just one hit on a bloop single to Chris Quintans. Alex Butt went two, and kept Campbell's in the game, giving up only 3 runs to Carman's "murderers' row" of batters in the first, and actually getting them 1-2-3 in the second. Patrick Smith pitched the 3rd for Campbell's, and also helped keep Carman at bay, as Carman extended the lead to 5-0. Kevin Gillen relieved Still in the top of the 4th, and retired the side, with 2 K's. Rob Tull took to the mound in the bottom of the 4th, as Carman finally broke through, with a single by Jerry Boyer, a walk to John Tierney, followed by a triple by Avery Coleman, another walk to Colin Newby, an E-4 for Kevin Gillen, a two-bagger by Mike Still, and then the game clinching home run by Matt Snow. Final Score, Carman 11, Campbell's 0. 1 2 3 4 R H E Campbell 0 0 0 0 0 1 2 Carman 3 0 2 6 11 10 0
