Jake Enterlin pitched 3 strong innings striking out 6 and walking two as Baker Printing prevailed by a score of 12 - 2 against Moppert in the first game of the 2004 Major League season. John Paul Biscotti started things off well for Moppert with a lead off base hit up the middle on a two strike curve ball. Baker played errorless baseball in their opener and Biscotti was erased on a force at second. That was the only hit Enterlin would yield. In the third inning, Connor McCarren worked a two out walk but was thrown out attempting to steal second by Baker catcher, Phil Antonello. Offensively for Baker, key hits were delivered by Dan Divis, who is playing with a splinted broken finger, Ryan Martin and Sean Walsh. Erich Schwabe got the biggest hit with a two run triple. Ryan Martin finished on the mound for Baker and gave up an RBI single to Taylor Longacre before striking out the side to end the game.
