Baker Printing brought the heavy lumber today pounding out 15 hits as they downed Hagan by a score of 14 to 10. Ryan Martin, Ronnie Mizell and Dan Divis had three hits apiece to lead the attack for Baker. Defensively, Baker made only one error in the field. Ryan Martin pitched three solid innings and was then relieved by Mizell and Baker's new found closer, Erich Schwabe. Hagan played from behind in this one but never gave up, down 5 to 4 after 3 innings and 10 to 7 after 4 innings, they had a big chance with bases loaded in the fifth but could not capitalize. Then, in the sixth, the Hagan bats awoke with a two run double by Joe Infantino and an RBI double by Matt Robinson, with Infantino's hit almost leaving the park. A defensive highlight was provided in this game by Baker second baseman Erich Schwabe who ranged far to his left for a backhanded stab of a hard smash by Matt Robinson. Schwabe was able to pop to his feet and quickly throw to first baseman Sean Walsh who dug out the low throw to get the speedy Robinson.
