For the first time this season Baker Printing trailed in a game but they overcame the early two run deficit to prevail 7 -2 over Campbell's Boathouse. Campbell's got the scoring started in the bottom of the second on an opposite field hit by Mark Fanelli plating Pat Schramm who had reached on a fielder's choice. Then Ryan Myers bunted for a hit and Fanelli moved to third. He tried to score on a grounder to Baker first baseman Sean Walsh who quickly fired home for the tag to just get the sliding Fanelli. On the play, Baker catcher Phil Antonello picked off Myers as he came around third. But Myers got himself in a rundown and was called safe on a close play at home. After that, the Baker pitching combination of Ryan Martin and Dan Divis did not give up another run. Campbell's pitcher Joey McLaughlin was sailing along with good control and excellent defensive support. He held Baker scoreless for the first three innings. But in the fourth Baker used a double by Brendan Collins and a single by Jake Enterlin to score three runs and take the lead. Baker scored two more in the fifth on a long double to right center by Walsh with the bases loaded. They put together a two out rally in the sixth with Kyle Wenner delivering the big hit, a smash up the middle with the bases loaded.
