Jake Enterlin pitched six innings and scattered four hits to hold a powerful Carman team to just one run as Baker went on to win 6 to 1. Enterlin yielded only three walks in the game, with all three coming as a result of pitching very carefully to Carman power hitter, Andrew Snow. Baker had to play solid defense in this game. Only four of the eighteen outs came as the result of strikeouts. Carman went up 1 - 0 in the top of the second on hits by Kyle Gillen and Connor Gallen. Baker answered with a run in the bottom of the inning on a single by Erich Schwabe and a double by Sean Walsh. The score stayed knotted at one thanks to good pitching by Carman's Mark Dolphin and Connor Gallen. In the bottom of the fourth, Sean Walsh was able to manufacture a run on delayed steals of third and home. Walsh's aggressive baserunning seemed to be the spark that Baker needed and in the bottom of the fifth they erupted for four runs on five hits. Another turning point in this game came in the third inning when, with one out, and the meat of the Carman order due up, Baker catcher Phil Antonello picked off the Carman runner as he strayed too far off second base.
