Dougherty & Conrad continued with their hot bats posting a 14-8 win over a tough Kish Funeral.

Shane Williams pitched 3 scoreless innings and added 3 hits.  However, it was a total team effort for D.C. as  David Splain, Billy Ankrum, Joe Murray, and Kevin Dlugas all had 2 hits a piece. After jumping out to a 9-0 lead Kish Funeral fought back and added 4 runs in the fourth then 4 in the fifth to close the gap to 9-8. Josh Banister had the big hit to fuel the come back for Kish Funeral. But Dougherty & Conrad was able to hang on for it's third win of the year.

D&C's Daniel McCool who took one on the head shook it off then ran to first base and later scored a big run and received the game ball.
