ML Game 5
Hagans 16
Baker Printing 6
In a match-up of teams coming off first game wins Hagans fought off a great effort by Baker Printing in a 16-6 win. Hagans jumped off to an early 2-0 lead due, in part, to great pitching by Chris Maharaj and a rally killing catch in right field by Matt Leonard.
Baker, however, quickly seized a 5-2 lead. Hagan’s bats then went to work with key hits from Julian Heller, Hunter Tierney, Beau DiFiore, Jack Prior, Will Currier, and Kevin Melone. Despite great pitching efforts by Jake Enterlin, Ian Campbell, and Jeremy Davis Hagan’s bats proved too strong. Kevin Melone closed out the game on the mound with 2 strong innings.
