Both teams came ready to play as each scored 4 runs in the 1st inning.  Peterson's at bat was highlighted by a Johnny Allen 2 run single.  Moppert's 1st inning response was powered with hits from Conner McCarren & Kyle Longacre.  Moppert surged ahead in the 2nd inning scoring 4 more runs behind the hitting of Brian Bosco (double) and Kyle Longacre (single).  Peterson closed the gap in the 4th inning with a couple runs but it wouldn't be enough as Mopperts Adam Junkin pitched an impressive 5th inning to end the game.    Brian Vendetta also made a significant contribution for Moppert by pitching the first 3 innings and hitting an RBI single in the 4th inning.

This victory moves Moppert into sole possession of 1st place in this young season.
