Baker Printing used a team approach to overcome a tough Carman squad on Saturday. Jake Enterlin pitched three strong innings to get things started for Baker. The offense for Baker was lead by Colin Campbell who went 4-4 with three singles and a double racking up 2 runs and 2 RBIs. Pitching well for Carman were Kyle Gillen and Connor Gallen. Despite facing Carman's two top pitchers Baker's entire team contributed offensively. Andrew Karkenny was 2-4 with 2 RBIs; Paul Soma laid down a beautiful bunt in the 4th inning and followed up in the 6th inning with an RBI single.
Sean O'Kane was 1-2 with an RBI and a stolen base; Tyler Flynn also went 1-2 with a single and Jake Meyer drove in a run with a sac fly in the 6th inning. Keeping things close for Carman were Sean Mohollen (1-3); Kyle Gillen with an RBI triple and Connon Gallen going 3-4. Jeremy Davis and Kyle Wenner closed the game on the mound for Baker.
