In a well-matched low scoring game that featured great pitching and timely defensive plays, the Conley Steakhouse Braves topped the HAP A's 5-3.

The A's opened the game by scoring 2 runs in the first inning on doubles by Ashton Raines and Ian McKernan and singles by Sam Naismith and Greyson Nelson. In the bottom of the 1st, Ashton Raines and Sam Naismith made solid defensive plays for the A's to hold the Braves scoreless. However, the Braves exploded for three runs in the bottom of the second on singles by Peter Wallace, Dean Ward, Ryan Young, and Tyler Lashley.

The A's got back on the board in the 4th after an RBI single by Greyson Nelson. With the A's threatening to score more runs with the bases loaded, Braves pitcher Jason McLarney struck out the final batter of the inning to keep the score tied at 3. In the bottom of the 4th, A's pitcher Daniel Enterlin held the Braves scoreless striking out the side.

In the top of the fifth, the A's again threatened to retake the lead with a runner on third and no outs. For the second straight inning, the Braves' Jason McLarney pitched out of a jam holding the A's scoreless while striking out two batters.

A's pitcher Ashton Raines came on in the bottom of the fifth to keep the game tied at 3. Ashton Raines managed to strike out the side, but not before Peter Wallace and Ethan Fein hit run scoring singles to give the Braves the lead.

The A's bats came to life in the top of the sixth, but the rally proved too late as the game was called due to darkness.

The Braves were led by a solid pitching performance by Jason McLarney (1 ER, 5K) and clutch hitting by Peter Wallace (2-3, R, RBI). The A's offense was led by Greyson Nelson (2-2, 2 RBI) and Ashton Raines (1-1, 2B, 2 R).
