A gem of a game
played on a beautiful Saturday morning, gave Quotations Restaurant their six
straight win keeping them undefeated. Nate Engleka led the way with a masterful
pitching performance giving up just 3 hits and no walks during 4 inning 13-0 win
over Patriot Construction. Nate gave up a lead off single in the first by Dan
Grandieri, a one out single in the second by John Flynn and a one out double in
the 4th to Tommy Haley.
In three offensive innings, Quotations banged out 17 hits. Leading the way,
going 3 for 3, where John Ferruzzi, Nate Engleka, Pete Mamola, & Kellen
Edmondson, the 2,3,4,& 5 hitters. Included in the hit parade where Brian Treston,
Kevin Murphy, PJ Quinn, and Rowan Baber. Also adding to the excitement where
Christopher Smith with a line shot out caught by the second basemen and a two
out walk by Jeff Gregg. In fact, the Q-Dogs bats had everyone making contact
with the ball at least once when Alex Roberts grounded out to the pitcher.
