CL Game 10
| R | H | E | |
| Caramanico & Sons Mets | 7 | 18 | 0 |
| Rose Tree Getty Giants | 4 | 12 | 0 |
The Mets' bats woke up tonight as they won their first game of the season
against the Giants. The win brings our record to 1 – 2.
The offense included the team's first home run of the year, off the bat of
Herbie; and consistent hitting by the rest of the team. Seven different
players had an RBI each, as the scoring was spread across four innings.
The Giants threatened with a run in the 4th and three runs in the 5th
inning, including an RBI double by Ryan, but Seth's second unassisted putout
of the game helped to quiet the rally.
In the field, the Giants were able to execute a double play in the 2d inning
on a fly ball to the mound.
