Hagan’s notched their second victory of the week by a score of 12-2 over Campbell’s Boathouse. Hagan’s got on the board early, scoring two runs in the top of the first, and never looked back. With balanced hitting throughout the batting order, Hagan’s tallied 2 runs in the 2nd, 4 in the 3rd, and 4 more in the 5th. The offense was powered by John Owens (3 for 3, 2B, HBP, 3RBI), Brian Gross (3 for 4, 2B, 2RBI), Beau DiFiore (2 for 3, BB, 3 RBI), Kyle Maylish (2 for 2, RBI), and Billy Ankrum (2 for 3, 2B, RBI). Gross, who pitched a 3-hit complete game, also got plenty of defensive support featuring superb plays by Jack Prior, Andy Kaiden, and DiFiore.

Campbell’s showed their character by battling back in the bottom of the 5th with 2 runs on 3 hits (Matt Rushton, Joey McGlaughlin, and Shane Williams). But, it was too little, too late for Campbell’s as Hagan’s recorded their 4th win of the season against just 2 defeats.
