The Braves
(Prudential, Fox, and Roach) defeated the Yankees (Wilson Safe Co. ) by a score
of 11-2. The Braves were led by Chris Skahill, Stephen Furman, and Anthony
Martinelli all with big RBI hits. Corey Hansen was a catalyst out of the leadoff
spot reaching base all three times he was up. Defensively, stellar plays were
made in the field by Martinelli and Skahill and Brian Dougherty made a dynamic
put out at the plate from the catcher's position. The Braves pitching was
outstanding led by Jason McLarney, Stephen Furman, and Anthony Martinelli who
combined for 10 strikeouts.
