The Wilson Safe Company Yankees secured their second victory of the 2006 season
by defeating the Winner Circle Rockies; 14 to 4. The Yanks were led by the
pitching trio of Thomas Bacchia, Connor Daly and Jack Daly who held the Twins
offense in check by striking out 15 Rocks batters.
Yankee lead off man, Cameron Ricciardi’s four hits (two doubles) and four runs
scored helped lead a balanced attack. Kyle Ferrer, Jack Daly and Owen McGovern
smashed extra base hits to break the game open. Josh Yoon and John Manos each
had their first hits of the young season. Colin McGuire, Chris Urffer, Charlie
Frindt and Andrew Wilson also contributed to the Yanks victory.
