NL Game 33
Wilson Safe Company Yankees 15
Burman Health Foods A’s 6
The Wilson Safe Company Yankees locked up their third victory of the season
defeating the Burman Health Food A’s 15 to 6. Thomas Bacchia, Jack Daly and
Colin McGuire held the powerful A’s lineup in check. The Yanks fielders threw
leather at the A’s in the top of the first with a double play and an inning
ending put out at second on perfectly executed relay throw and tag when the A’s
batter tried to stretch a single into a double.
Yankee lead off man, Cameron Ricciardi continued with his hot streak, reaching
base all three times and plating two runs. Colin McGuire’s bases loaded double
broke the game open for the Yanks. Andrew Wilson and John Manos contributed
offensively with timely hits to drive in runs. Josh Yoon, Connor Daly, Chris
Urffer, Charlie Frindt, Owen McGovern, Kyle Ferrer and Joey Lewis all scored
runs for the Yanks.
Jim Finnegan, Ben Burman, Alex Burman and James Katner all played well for the
A’s.
