The Braves put forth a total team effort led by Stephen Furman with 4 hits and 3 innings pitched striking out 9. Corey Hansen, Chris Skahill, Anthony Martinelli, Jack Norton and Brian Dougherty all had multi-hit games for the Braves. Joe Kaneda, Spencer Hespenheide, Jason McLarney, and James Hare contributed big hits as well. Chris Skahill pitched 2 excellent innings in his first outing of the year. Excellent team defense was played by all Braves.
