Marlins pitching proved to be too much for the vaunted Burman lineup and Corey Zeiring pitched 3 strong innings and made a spectacular play on a James Kantner line drive to end his day with no runs and two hits with 7 strike outs. Cal Samson Finished up the evening with 7 strike outs in 3 innings of tremendous pitching scarred only by the pay back home run by James Kantner. Final pitch count for Corey was 34 pitches with 28 strikes in three innings and 7 strike outs. Cal Samson finished his three innings in only 31 pitches. Big hits by the Marlins came from Corey Zering, Danny Crawford and Billy Fediw.
