AL Game 5
Brooks, Bradley and Kenney 10
Prudential Fox Roach 3
In the lead off American League game for opening day, team BBK kept up its hot pitching to improve to 2-0 with a 10-3 victory over Pru-Fox Roach. The game was a tight affair for the first several innings, as Fox pitchers Tyler Lashley and Thomas Bacchia slowed the BBK offense. Lashley crushed a double to close the game score to 4-3 before BBK broke through with offense provided by Malcolm Reynolds, the switch hitting Tommy Higgins, and Michael Solomon. The star of the game, however, was newcomer Danny Healey. Healey threw 5 innings of shut down ball, needing only 54 pitches before Sean Doyle game in the 6th to close the door.
