AL Game 28
Brooks, Bradley & Kenney 12
Quotations Restaurant 0
In the first meeting of these two league leaders, Danny Healey served notice
that Brooks Bradley & Kenney will be formidable in the play-offs as he threw a
complete game, 10 strike-out, no walk, 67 pitch shut-out. BBK got out of the
gates early against Quotation’s pitcher Ashton Raines, who had previously been
almost unhittable. BBK scored seven runs in the first and never looked back. The
game was called by the ten run rule after 5 innings played. For Quotations, Jack
Norton was a ray of light as he smoked two doubles, and Brad Quinter and Ben
Aman also chipped in with hits. For BBK, the offense was led by Tommy Higgins (3
hits), Danny Healey (inside park home run), and Michael Solomon (3 hits with
inside park home run).
