This game was a classic pitchers duel and the outcome was in question throughout the contest.  Neither team scored until the third inning when Quotations plated two runners on a single by Ben Aman (2-3).  In the bottom of the third HRE came right back to tie the game at two when Brian Koskinen (2-3) hit a 2 RBI single.  Neither team scored in the fourth and in the fifth HRE was able to tack on another run on a single by Nick Ladd (1-3) to take a 3-2.  Both teams were outstanding in the field making play after play to keep the game close.

Pitchers for HRE were Chase Luffey who allowed 2 runs on 5 hits with 5 strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings of work.  James McConnon came on to close the game giving up no runs, 1 hit and striking out 1 in 1 1/3 innings of work.  The HRE offense was led by Chase Luffey (3-3) and Brian Koskinen (2-3).

Dan Enterlin pitched a strong game allowing 3 runs on 7 hits with 8 strikeouts in 5 innings of work.  Quotations offense was led by Justin Troilo (2-2) and Ben Aman (2-3).
