Campbell’s Boathouse met Gardner/Fox for the first time this season and backed by the quality pitching of Shane Williams (8 K’s, 2 hits) and the big bats of Matt Rushton (2 doubles) and John Fender (2 doubles), took a 12-2 victory into the Major League record books. Eric Poynton (1 K) and Dan Grandieri (2 K’s) brought solid relief for 1 inning each and both added a double to the hitting along with Zach Kline.

For Gardner/Fox Brian Mizell hit a double in the top of the second and Phil Kotcamp hit a single and scored in the 4th.
