Funeral Homes defeated Lankenau 14 - 5 for their third win of this young season.
Strong hitting and solid pitching propelled the Braves to victory. The was close
through 3 innings of play, but the the Braves posted 6 runs in the last two
inning to cement the victory. Jenna Volciak and Rory Allen each played three
runs for the Braves while Colin McCarthy went 4-4 at the dish! The Braves
pitchers tallied 12 strikeouts with Jack Kichula accounting for 7 over 2 1/3
innings.
For the Yankees Colin Mohollen and Will Hotham scored two runs a piece. Conner
Daly made a great play at the plate on a catch and tag play preventing a Braves
runner from scoring in the 3rd and helped keep the game close.
