The Red Sox scored 5 runs in the top of the 1st inning from hits by Kyle Virbitsky, Ethan Bedwell, Mike Arndt, and a big 2 RBI double by Corinne Mulhearn. The Red Sox tacked on 3 more runs in the 2nd to take a 8-0 lead. Kyle Virbitsky shut down the Twins line up for 3 innings by striking our 8 batters, walking one and allowing just 2 runs. . After a slow start Twins brought in ace pitcher Steve Moppert which shut down the Red Sox offense. Then In the bottom of the darkness shortened 4th and final inning the Twins began their comeback with bases loaded Jules Marmer hit a in the park home run to tie the game at 8 all.
