NL Game 27
Haverford Trust Rockies 10
Patriot Construction Marlins 6
Showing why Big Boy
Alex Burman is one of the top pitchers in the National league. He had 9
strikouts and no hits through 4 full innings. Power pitching and dominating all
of the Marlin batters through his 5th outing. Adding to the early frenzy of the
night was Paul Barze with 3 RBIs. Jack Pandolfo with 2 RBIs and helping his own
cause was Alex Burman who also blasted a tripple in the 2nd inning. As well as
Mark Dombrowski hitting for extra bases in the third.
Still in this league
no lead is safe. Going into the last inning the Rockies were up 10 nothing when
the Marlins came to bat after walking in 3 runs and boys like Michael Lansbury,
Andrew Panzo and Nicholas Newman all got key kits.
Eventually the HT Rockies were able to get the three outs they needed and win
there 4th game .Putting there record at an even 500 with 4 wins and 4 loss's.
The Rockies needed this win getting shut out last game and playing a team that's won 3 straight (Marlins).
With 6 games left the Rockies are finding what they do well and soon will get
back there lead off hitter Brendon Ricciardi who broke his arm early in the
season.
Special mention needs to go out to the Marlins for not giving up and fighting
back in that last inning. That's a tribute to there coaching staff instilling a
never quit attitude. Congratulations coach Freedman for a great job with your
team.
