In
what turned out to be close, hard fough game, Kish Funeral Homes defeated Ernest
Bock and Sons with a game winning single in the bottom of the 6th by Jarrett
Kline that plated Owen McGovern with the winning run.
The Red Sox jumped out to an early 2-0 on hits by Lou Lombardo and Aaron Brown.
Kyle Vvibitsky kept the Braves batters in check with solid pitching. Jack
Kichula pitched two solid innings for the Braves.
The Braves bats finally came alive in the fourth inning on Richie Sposato's
triple to deep center field. He also doubled in the bottom of the 6th with the
Braves trailing by 2. A single by DJ White helped tie the game at two. The Red
Sox then responded in the 5th to go ahead 4-2. It took three runs in the bottom
of the 6th for the Braves to steal the victory with singles by Giuliano
Ciancaglini, Owen McGovern, and the game winner by Kline. The win improved the
Braves to 5-4 after two straight tough loses.
