The Campbell’s Boat House bats continued to spring to life as Campbell’s defeated Baker Printing12-5.
Dan Grandieri led the charge both at the plate and on the mound as he sparked the Campbell’s 9 throughout the contest. Led by a four run first inning and six run fourth, Grandieri had a perfect night at the plate going 4 for 4 including two home runs and six runs batted in. His impressive home run barrage brought him to three for the season.
First baseman Ben Geiger also contributed with two hits and two runs batted in.
Grandieri pitched into the sixth inning posting five strike outs and looked to closeout the complete game but his pitch count finally caught up to him. Jack Keffer was sent in to close out the game. Christian Miller played a stellar defensive game at shortstop and John Ferruzi led the Campbell’s pitching duo from his backstop position.
The Baker Printing charges were led offensively by second baseman Ieradi’s two hits and two runs.
