The Royals bats came to life in a 15-14 win over the Twins in National League action. They were lead by Adam Waldie 3 for 3, Brian Virbitsky 3 for 4, Ken Jensen 3 for 4, Reid Morfei 3 for 4 and Kevin Smith 2 for 3.
 

On the mound, Kevin Smith pitched a scoreless 4th inning and Brian Virbitsky allowed 1 run and struck out the last batter with the bases jammed to seal the victory.
