NL Game 29
Yankees (Visual Communications) 12
Marlins (Emily M Travel) 10
It was a great game that went down to the wire!
The Yankees were winning coming into the last inning. The Marlins were
batting and mounting a big comeback. The score was 12-10 and the Marlins had
runners at first and third with one out. The pitcher for the Yankees, Jared Hoefner, went into his wind up and delivered the pitch. Crack- a line drive was
hit to Jamie Barker at first base. He caught the ball which was the second out.
The runner at 3rd base jumped too early and was crossing the plate. Jamie threw
home to the catcher Vince Caruso and he ran after the runner and tagged him for
the third out. Double play to end the game.
