Rockies (Gregory Hillyard D.M.D.) 10
The A's pulled out a
tough win against the Rockies in a game that started on Friday and ended on
Sunday. The Rockies held a 6-4 lead on Friday when the skies broke open and
the game was stopped due to rain. The Rockies scored another one to up their
lead to 7-4 when Evan Fooks put the brakes on the Rockies offense. The A's
bats brought them back to take a 9-7 lead. A clutch 2 run single by Isaac
Golub gave the A's the lead. The Rockies weren't done though as Nathan
Furman and Dylan Bittle both came through with 2 out RBI's. The A's took the
lead again when Jamaal Williams took one for the team with the bases loaded.
The Rockies led off the 5th with back to back walks. Fooks reached his pitch
count and was replaced by Jeffrey Lunger. Lunger then struck out the next 3

bases. Lunger was tough again in the 6th and was helped out by solid defense
by the 8 year old duo of Isaac Golub and Aidan Carroll.
Tommy Bradley and Luke Bauwens pitched well for the Rockies while Bittle and
Furman led them at the plate.
