NL Game 40
Yankees (Visual Communications) 12
Marlins (Emily M Travel) 11
The Yankees won a thriller in the bottom
of the 5th inning thanks to Bryan Pazulski coming in the top of the inning and
pitching the team out of a bases loaded jam. The score was tied 11-11 going
into the bottom of the 5th inning.
Luke Lombardi was hit by a pitch. He was able to steal second base and get into scoring position representing the winning run. Blake Martin (brought up from the Continental League) walked and stole 2nd base while Luke stole 3rd. That brought Jamie Barker to the plate. With a count of 1-1 Jamie hit a monster fly ball to right-center field just out of the reach of the charging Marlin centerfielder and Luke Lombardi scored the winning run.
