NL Game 43
Rockies (Gregory Hillyard, D.M.D.) 8
Red Sox (Witch Bistro) 4
The Rockies got strong pitching from
the combo of Nathan Furman & Jamie Simpson <each going 3 innings>. The Rockie
offense was led by Ethan Nagorsky <2 walks w/2 runs scored>, and Dylan Bittle
who was 3-for-3 (2 singles & a double) with 3 runs scored.
Josh Gordon was 2-for-2 with a walk for the Red Sox, and Kyle Broadhurst knocked
in a key run and started a small rally for the Sox in the 6th.
There was some key defensive plays made in the game, but Sean Prior (Rockies)
had the highlight play of the day to end a potential Red Sox rally in the 5th.
Great play Sean!!
Great effort by all, and this evens the season series at 1 game a piece.
