Horizon 1
Senior Care vs. Horizon played two close regular seasons games and split
both, so it was to be an expected great opening 2010 AL playoff game. And
boy, did this game turn out to be a pitching & defensive gem! Horizon
pitching staff was nicely led by Charles Andress & Andrew Robinson, and
Senior Care had their aces Jack Kichula & Michael Castaldi hold down the
fort with only 1 run allowed.
Senior Care only squeezed out 1 run until the 4th inning, but then smart &
aggressive base running let team "Big Blue" get a little extra run support
and get the win. Horizon may have been a lower seeded team, but showed on
Monday that they will be a fierce opponent in the playoffs!
