A 7-2 game got dicey for Moppert as Patriot scored three in the fifth to close the game to 7-5. Then in the bottom of the sixth, Patriot scored a run and had a runner on second with one out before Ryan Colella struck out the next two batters to end the game. Ari Feldman put Patriot in position to tie with a line drive double to right. Feldman reached base all four time up, including two walks. James Bauwens had two hits for Patriot. For Moppert, four pitchers (Michael Chang, Justin Heidig, Ryan Stocku and Colella) combined for the win. Stocku also doubled and scored. Colella also had three hits, including his seventh home run. Heidig and Sam Freedman registered two hits.
