The regular season ended with a bang for both the Royals and the visiting A's. The A's jumped to an early lead before losing it in the bottom half of the 5th. Tides turned in the top half of the 6st and the A's regained the lead.

The Royals refused to go down and came back to win on a walk off single by James Hilley.
