Thursday’s game between Horizon and Cocco’s Pizza was won by Horizon in a one run victory, 8 to 7.

Pablo Hortua pitched four innings with three strike-outs giving up only two hits. He had strong offensive support from Zak Burgess who had three hits including a triple and Matt Koskinen with a triple and a single. Nick Chaves, Joey Skulski and Will Holefelder also had strong bats.

Cocco’s Pizza was led by the pitching of Kevin Smith who went three innings with 6 strike-outs. Aiden Carroll and Anthony Covello led the offense for Cocco’s Pizza.

Pitching: Game was played into the sixth inning but called back to the end of the fifth inning due to darkness.
