Pirates had a great overall game behind great pitching by Tommy Carroll and solid defense by Mike Trasatti, Sean Bettenhausen and James Gill. Andrew Pak went 4 for 4 and Nick Martini kept up his hot hitting with 2 more hits. Matt Delmar continued his solid play at the hot corner and was a terror on the base paths as was Christian Williams.

Pablo Hortua pitched a great game for Horizon and Zak Burgess had a couple big hits.
