Opening day weekend for the Nationals and Brewers.

This game got off to a fast start with the Brewers first seven hitters reaching base.   However with 4 runs on the board and no outs, the pitcher settled down and struck out the side.  The Nationals came up in the bottom of the first and hit two singles and a homer run by Charlie to close the gap to 4-3.

With only 4 outs and 7 total runs plated, this game had the makings of a barn burner. It was not to be.

In the third inning a triple by the Brewer's Jason and an RBI single by Beepe pushed the score to 5-3 which ended the scoring.

Highlights:

 * Zach of the Nationals reached base in all 3 at bats
 * Nico and Jason went 3 for 3 for the Brewers
 * Isaiah caught a pop up at second
