ML Game 29
Campbells Boathouse Restaurant 12
Hagan's Funeral Home 9
Game Summary
Campbells won it's 2nd straight as the Boathouse beat Hagan's 12-9 in a battle
on Tuesday evening. Campbells pitching and Team Defense again were the winning
formula for the first game of a home and home series VS Hagan, who they'll face
again Saturday. Bryan Pazulski went the distance for Campbells, throwing 83
pitches, with an amazing 62 of them going for strikes. Campbell's threw the
leather at Hagan's, recording 18 put outs, as Pazulski won the contest without
recording a strikeout. Max Daugherty backstopped a great game for Pazulski,
allowing 0 passed balls, 0 stolen bases, and 2 runners picked off bases.
Campbells Brendon Ricciardi robbed Hagan slugger Drew Robinson of a sure HR,
with a 'back to the fence', overhead grab of a homerun ball that instead found
the web of Ricciardi's glove. He then went on to help the Campbell's offense
with 3 hits and 3 runs scored. Gold Glove 1st baseman Andrew Sposato, also
chipped in with 3 hits and 3 runs scored of his own.
Each team traded HR's in the 4th, as Jake Fisher went yard with a solo pinch-hit
bomb in the top of the inning, as Zack Schlect answered in the bottom half with
a 2 run opposite field blast of his own.
Devon Laut and Jake Ringiewicz made key plays in the field down the stretch, as
Campbells played error free baseball the last 4 innings while Pazulski needed
only 41 pitches through that span to complete the game and rest the Campbells
bullpen.
