Baker
Printing improved their record to 10 and 3 with an 18 to 8 victory over Carman
on Sunday afternoon. Ryan Duplicki blasted his 9th home run of the season in the
1st inning as Baker built a 4 to 0 lead. By the end of the 3rd inning, Baker
cruised out to a 16 to 2 lead. Carman battled back with 6 runs in the top of the
4th to cut the lead to 16 to 8. Baker added 2 runs in the bottom of the 4th to
give Baker the 4 inning victory.
Baker was led in hitting by Justin Ross who went 4 for 4, Brian Virbitsky,
Jeffrey Lunger, Ryan Duplicki and Zak Summy each added 2 hits for Baker. Brendan
Schramm reached base all 4 times and scored 4 runs. Brendan also picked up the
win on the mound.
Patriot was led by Patrick O’Kane, Justin Heidig, Bradley Dinger, and Brendan
Stocku with 2 hits apiece.
