The Athletics' bats were alive coming out of the gates – scoring 13 runs off of the pitching machine. Jonathan had the Athletics' most potent bat going 4 for 4 with a double.

The pitching for the Athletics’ was also on point. They were able to keep the Orioles offense off of the board racking up 4 K’s.  The Oriole pitching was also strong – Nick, Riley and Eli worked together for 3 K’s and holding the A’s potent offense to 4 runs.
