The Action:

Media 11 All Stars beat Aston Middletown 9-6 to advance to BYC Tournament Championship game! All batters contributed with a balanced offense as seven players contributed hits and 9 of 11 reached base. A number of excellent fielding plays throughout also helped Media prevail. Media jumped out to a 1st inning 6-1 lead but AMLL battled back and tied the game 6-6 in the 4th. The big play of the game was a two out single by Justin Crawford in the bottom of the 4th that drove home the winning runs and sealed the win. Leading the way was Evan Cummings and Luke Lombardi who combined for the pitching win. Gavin McHugh was outstanding behind the plate and reached base all three times. Brendan Stocku was 2 for 3 with two runs scored and an RBI. Evan Cummings also reached base all three times with a run scored and an RBI.

Championship game will be played at 6:15pm tonight (Tuesday, 6/17) at the BYC Complex.

Remember this is a 50/70 Tournament so there are leads, balks and exciting base running!
