Media takes second place honors at MTLL tournament!

Media lost 5-2 in Championship game to take second place at MTLL. Another tight game which was tied 2-2 in the 4th inning until MTLL opened up the lead and held on to win. Media hung in till the end with strong pitching from Luke Lombardi who pitched 3 innings and Brendon Stocku who pitched 2 .

Highlights:

• Luke Lombardi walked three times and score a run.

• Brendon went 2 for 3 with a run scored.

• Evan Perks did an outstanding job behind the plate catching 2 consecutive games in brutally hot conditions to help the team.

Media only posted 9 players for both games due to injuries and the boys really put their all into a great double header performance with all the boys making contributions either defensively or offensively.

A great effort with no rest in very hot conditions (95+ in the shade)!
