Mainstay and Moppert Brothers went at it Wednesday night in a hard fough and well played game. Moppert Brothers scored a run in the top of the 1st on hits by Adrian Kohler and Austin Hines. It could have been worse except for some good defense by Mainstay. Mainstay answered in the bottom of the 1st on a single and 3 SBs by Sean Bettenhausen.

Mainstay then put up a 3 spot in the bottom of the 2nd to take a 4-1 lead. Corey Anderson got a triple followed by Dylan White's double and singles by Nick Harrsch and Zac Allen to plate the runs. Moppert Brothers responded with 2 in the top of the 3rd when Andrew Wickman got a hit and stole 3 bases then Tyler Kane walked and stole home.

Mainstay responded in the bottom of the 3rd when Luke Narbus walked and scored on Jimmy Cage's double. David Cage plated his brother with a laser to right to make the score 6-3. Moppert got another run back in the 4th when Eamon Scanlon walked and scored a run on a hit by Robbie Furlan. RJ Host knocked in Dylan White in the 4th on a single to make it 7-4. Zach Munin scored in the 5th to make it 7-5 and that is where it would end as David Cage came in to get the save with 3 K's in the 6th. Both teams played some great defense.
