On a cold night, things heated up on the CL field with a very competitive game ultimately won in extra innings by the Athletics 3-2.

Brady Hammond got a bases loaded RBI single to put the A’s out to their first lead of the game and the D held up in the bottom of the 7th to propel the A’s

The Pirates were led by Declan Brophy who went 3 for 3 and also had some stalwart defense from Nick DelPizzo and Sam Grace

The Athletics got 3 for 3 nights from Owen Brennan and Brendan Hefferan, and played great team defense making 7 putouts in the game

Great game to start the season for both teams
