A very well played, back and forth game by both the Athletics and Diamondbacks wasn’t settled until the final at bat when Brendan Hefferan hit a walk-off bases loaded 2B on a beautiful Opening day at MLL.

The Athletics were led by 4 hit days from Ryan Anderson, Tucker Kinne and Brendan Hefferan and a Bunyan-esque Grand Slam shot from Owen Brennan.

The Diamondbacks saw a great all around team defensive effort keeping the game close and were led at the plate by 4 for 4 days from Luke Mersch and Josh Allen and 3 for 3 days from Rowan Degnan, Blayke Reid and Nico Taylor.
