ML Game 10
Campbell's Boathouse Restaurant 11
Baker Printing 3
Campbell's Boathouse knocked off Baker printing for the second time in this young season to push their season opening win streak to 4 with a convincing 11 - 3 victory. Campbell's jumped out early with 4 runs in the top of the first and never looked back. It was Andrew Sposato that would help pace the potent Campbell's attack on this night, scoring 3 runs on his first 3 at bats. Jack Higgins helped Sposato reaching base twice himself, including a key RBI single in the opening frame which turned out to be the games winning run - plating Campbell's Centerfielder Nick Corrado.
Evan Fooks took the hill and notched his 2nd win of the season, spreading 3 hits
over 3 2/3 innings of work. He handed off to Campbell's ace closer Bryan Paz,
who struck out 5 and gave up his lone hit on a line drive by Baker starting
pitcher Brian Virbitski.
The Campbell's boys take a rare day off on Friday, as they ready themselves to
face the sleeping giant Carman Insurance in an early Saturday morning contest.
